I recently got one of these too and my home's roof-mounted aerial is apparently more than good enough to pick up around 64 stations (TV and Radio).
I like the hardware, insofar as it's tiny and simple and may or may not have IR recievers. The bundled EPG is nice enough, though it picks up listings for around 77 channels, not 64 and I'm assuming it's webserver is totally insecure due to it's lack of real config files or tools.
However the lack of bundled remote, unfriendly and very slow software (no teletext, no 'red button', long delays changing channels and a very unfinished feel) lack of documentation for the EPG and the installation of various human interface devices and software that won't be used till we fork out for a remote (which will not add teletext or 'red button' functionality, I've checked) all mean that this nifty gadget is going right back to the shop.
I like the bundled aerial though, it's cute and VERY magnetic.
It'd be nice if you asked before taking stuff from my site. Contact me at webmaster [at] thingy - ma - jig . co . uk
